Every year in September a very traditional event takes place just outside Freidberg with the hearty Oxen Festival. Ox racing is accompanied by beer, hearty cuisine and cheerful German folk music. An exciting day awaits which you can enjoy with body and soul.
The festival is held on the quaint grounds of the family Goldstein on the edge of Friedberg lake. The event is a reminder of the medieval cattle drive that once took place along the romantic route.
