The zoo is without a doubt the number one destination in the region. 1500 animals and altogether 300 different species from all over the world can be seen from close proximity. Highlights are the tropical house, the predator enclosure, the African panorama and the daily seal feeding time. Children have the opportunity to get particularly close to tame animals in the petting zoo.
The best time to visit is during the spring time when many young animals can be seen.
